About

The project unfolds as an illusion of a game. The avatar is born and moves through a space without time and boundaries in search of eternal life. She walk through the Glitch-corroded ruins of frozen people - these are 3D scans of author's loved ones and friends, strangers from the subway. Avatar put on swimming armbands and enter the digital river Styx. It is calm and warm here, like in my mother’s body. She move freely through the walls of shells in search of a new body. It is an act of transformation. This speculative realm echoes Donna Haraway’s vision of the cyborg: a hybrid entity beyond binary oppositions, where human, machine and code are intertwined. Immortality becomes a systemic function, but it comes at a price. While some are adorned with eternity, others become fuel. This is not a utopia, but a field of ethical ruins, where the question of “who will be responsible” sounds louder than “can we live forever.”
