About
This Meetup continues our exploration of Any Body Knows season theme — this time focusing on the body as a social and political agent. What does it mean to be human with others? How do bodies co-exist, collide, and co-create meaning? We’ll speak of bodies as sites of protest and care, of memory and transformation — and explore how they shape, disrupt, and weave social matter. The conversation is hosted by Rachel Rits-Volloch — curator and Founding Director of MOMENTUM and Philipp Mistakópulo, Communications Director at CIFRA and devoted art lover. Together with the artists Thomas Eller, Nina E. Schönefeld, Bjørn Melhus, and Isaac Chong Wai, they will guide us through a dialogue on the social matter of bodies, their tensions and solidarities, their political charge, and their imaginative potential. We also invite you to explore Rachel’s curatorial selection The Pre-Posthuman Body on CIFRA — an entry point into her research on post-nature, post-humanism, and the elastic limits of embodiment in a world stretched by AI, surveillance, and crisis.
