About
I WON'T EVEN TELL YOU is an audiovisual series based on real dreams by visual artist Conrado Zanotto, conceived as a poetic archive of the unconscious. Each short episode (approx. 1.5 minutes) unfolds as a fragmented narrative where reality and imagination collapse into surreal, non-linear experiences. Generated with artificial intelligence, the films deliberately incorporate imperfections, abrupt cuts, distortions, and shifting voices and accents, forming an unstable, almost indecipherable language that mirrors the logic of dreams. Titled with the exact date and time of their recording, the episodes retain an intimate and documentary dimension, blurring personal memory with constructed fiction. "Art Residency — December 12, 2023, 09:10 AM" follows a group of international artists invited to a remote residency led by a Master and his disciple. What begins as an exclusive creative retreat gradually reveals a darker premise: the artists themselves become the material of the work. As the environment grows increasingly uncanny, a sculptural garden, a lake with carnivorous fish, a barn of hybrid stitched bodies, the boundary between creator and creation dissolves. The film proposes an immersive sensory experience in which image, sound, and language are in constant displacement, challenging the limits between memory, imagination, and reality.
