È incidente

"É incidente” results from the need to document altered states of perception, reflected in its purely constructed quality; a relocation of blurred memories to a new space. The short film translates junctures of personal experiences into sequences of images, presenting a vision of the real as a pure fabrication of the mind; a succession of visions and sound suggestions that cyclically intersect, to then crumble and dissolve. 

The choice of Super 8 film introduces us to the dimension of the everyday life, where observations of reality and reinterpretations of it are intertwined with stop motion animations. The resulting images seem enveloped in an aura of timelessness, in continuous oscillation between the suspension and dilation of space.

A girl enveloped in a theatrical dreaminess. The gesture as  expression. Everything happens while a faint off-screen voice does not really want to communicate. The performance centres on the lightness of a body in the cement of the world.
The body fades;, it melts.
We pass through these events as if floating on colours and shapes. At the end, what's left are dissolved pictures in the wind, a distance between the experience and its recollection. 
Is this a new state of consciousness? 
Are we present now?
