Antoine Donzeaud: Behind Closed Doors

About

Antoine Donzeaud creates paintings, sculptures, and video installations that explore our shared anxieties. The French artist's studio in Paris is like a futuristic construction zone, and his works are so intense you can't miss them. Think massive ceiling installations on tarps, metal sidings splattered with paint, and screens showing people at their most vulnerable — crying or deeply emotional. Like a curious explorer, he dives into the Internet feeds, showcasing the highs, lows, and everything in between. Antoine has exhibited at Centre Pompidou and Spiaggia Libera, and runs his own project space, Exo Exo. He gave us a tour of his studio and spilled on how he transforms galleries into intimate spaces to make his art so raw and real.
