About

“Bit Rot” (2026) is a media hacking project designed to make the descent to the far-right pipeline a little bit weird through Trojan tactics both in physical and virtual formats.
Developed with the support of Error 417 Expectation Failed and Lothringer 13 Halle.
Part of 13 Scores Against Tech Fascism. The website, at first glance, appears to be a very serious corporate website offering tech-based services, until the user encounters a message that invites them to explore a backdoor. Upon taking the invitation, and finding the hidden menu, the user will find our research of the far-right pipeline and tutorials and how-to’s on how to make your own deepfakes, dupes, and decoys to join us in this mission to intervene in this ideological rabbit hole in whatever way is possible to the user. Some of these tactics have included creating a fake book by a renowned author who we’ve identified as part of the ideological pipeline, and creating a Telegram bot that allows users to send a trigger in the form of a message that will create deepfakes distributed into different social media platforms, using the aesthetic of far-right influencers with messages that aim to counter or question their ideas.
