An Unforeseen Space #1 is a part of a collection of 2 pieces. For the viewer, a precise moment of a virtual reality environment created by the artist for the exhibition Out of Spaces. These video loops, recorded in a space with uncertain limits, offer a silent experience of suspended spatiality. Inspired by the decentering that our attention to birds can bring about, Marie Lelouche imagines an environment with a sky as far as the eye can see that large curtains inhabit and structure. They offer non-binary representations, born of a fascination for inter-species relations. With the approach of the surface of the screen, these entities become flying, floating images, then become colored veils which stop the glance. The spectator settles then, in front of the light oscillations of the images, in a distended temporality.
