Point of view is an essential part of any optics. Optics also can be considered as as a basic feature of all systems of power. Moreover it is not only a feature - it is a tool which can be used for powerproduction. In other words power produces optics, but also optics produce power. It is a kind of a self-sustaining ouroboros. 
So, when we find some similarities or catch metaphorical synergy between gun-riffle, dashboard, screen surface and political symbols, is it just an apophenia or a critical intuition?
