In a fusion of the biological and digital, Echoes From the Valley of Existence is an interactive artwork by Amy Karle that invites reflection on the lasting imprints of human existence. Using real-time body tracking, biometrics, and environmental data, the installation mirrors participants’ digital and biological "echoes," offering them the unique chance to contribute text messages and DNA to an archive that will be preserved on the moon. This work challenges visitors to consider the legacies they leave behind—how they might resonate in time and space, even after their physical form has dissolved. The installation integrates a custom soundscape, generative visuals, and interactive elements that respond to human presence. As a multisensory experience, it combines bio-digital reflections and a cosmic archive, sparking conversations on mortality, memory, and the transcendence of human identity in a technologically integrated future. more at https://www.amykarle.com/project/echoes/
