WHISPERS

The project is an immersive experience investigating the mechanics of online radicalization and ideological manipulation on social media. It features a series of virtual actors, each embodying archetypal personalities derived from a semantic analysis of real-world influencers. When given a topic by the audience, these virtual actors engage in debate, each presenting a distinct perspective shaped by specific ideological behaviors. These behaviors span a platitude of beliefs mirroring the polarizing dynamics of online discourse. This clash of rhetorical arguments, allows us to analyze how real world influencers debate and structure their arguments in the social media landscape.In this space the audience is forced to engage in a conversation between opposing perspectives thus disrupting the echo chamber effect.
