The Roads Taken
Excerpt from 'The Roads Taken' (2023). We drive ourselves through this life, sometimes following a map, sometimes guided by intuition. We get to an intersection and we have to decide what’s the right path. Nobody says you can’t turn back but certainly going back doesn’t mean to arrive to the same point where we deviated, time is ticking and that place and even ourselves are not the same. So it’s always a straight forward route. How many dead ends we will encounter in our journey? Is the end of this journey a new beginning? We are the driver, the passenger, the vehicle (a vessel) and the roads taken.
