The End of the Naive World

Pirosmani’s animals once inhabited a symbolic economy of innocence: flat bodies suspended in darkness, mute witnesses to modest feasts and fragile human rituals. Their stillness belonged to a slower ontology — a world where representation had not yet been contaminated by permanent crisis. This work dislocates that equilibrium.
