The City Learns to Fall
Contains AI-assisted elements
The City Learns to Fall stages an unstable urban world in which bodies, architecture and objects cease to obey their familiar hierarchies. Human figures swell, fragment, collapse and merge with the surrounding city, while vivid geometric forms cut through the scene like signals from another visual order. The work explores the body not as a stable subject but as a temporary configuration — vulnerable to memory, violence, technological mediation and transformation. The city becomes both theatre and organism: a space in which individual identity is continuously assembled and dissolved. The image was developed through an iterative human–machine process combining the artist’s visual material, drawing and photographic references with generative AI, followed by selection, recomposition and authorial editing. AI functions here not as an autonomous author, but as a source of variation, disruption and unexpected visual associations within a deliberately directed artistic process.
