The Cautious Tortilla

The Cautious Tortilla is a short-form animated work emerging from my recent experiments with synthetic characters, generative performance, and absurdist dialogue. Its humor and deliberately modest scale contrast with the immersive visual fields of works such as Quantum LOGOS, Moirai, Thread of Life, and Echoes, Whispers and Memories, while continuing its concern with unstable systems, cultural memory, and competing ways of understanding the world. Here, those concerns are compressed into character, voice, gesture, and comic exchange. The work also anticipates the satirical direction of Cloud Pharaohs, where generative animation becomes less a spectacle of technological capability than a means of constructing eccentric figures through which contemporary cultural and technological power can be examined.
