System Cloner-MetaGod is a video installation project features AI generated visuals. It dives into an imagined future where human transcend into meta/hyper/virtual beings (system cloners) in the digital realm led by MetaGod. The uncanniness of the AI led dehumanization juxtaposes with their verbal speech. At what point do we stop being human? What does it mean to worship something we’ve created? And can a digital God truly lead posthuman to salvation? The project interrogates the post-human utopia by questioning if the evolution of machine perfection and digital divinity are based on human mutation and distortion.
