Sound of Valar

"Sound of Valar" (2022-2024) is a speculative reconstruction of humanity's oldest sonic archive: the pre-linguistic voice. In a world saturated with fixed narratives and "synthetic daydreams," the work proposes a false testimony: the voice not as a carrier of verifiable messages, but as raw material — a sonic fossil that the viewer must complete. By stripping the voice of its narrative function and presenting it as a purely sculptural element — akin to wind or water — the piece fractures our habitual perception of sound and language. This invented archive of the ancestral does not seek to document a reality, but to restore (RestArt) our connection to it. It invites us to question what our auditory environment is made of and how the absence of words can sharpen our listening, waking us from digital lethargy to confront silence and memory. Here, fiction becomes the only possible tool to access a more intimate and primal truth.
