Sleep Paralysis

This video is part of my ongoing research into the hybridization of analog imagery and contemporary technologies, questioning the limits of perception and visual identity. It originates from a silver gelatin photograph—a medium charged with memory and traces of the real—before shifting into a transformation generated by artificial intelligence. The still image, produced through an analog process, acts as an anchor: it carries grain, light, and the imperfections of the tangible world. By subjecting it to AI-generated video, I allow it to slip into an uncertain space, where the image changes, expands, becomes mobile and unstable. This process interrogates the mutation of reality through the prism of the digital, the dissolution of time within an artificial continuity, and the recomposition of perception.
