Sense
"Sense" is a project designed to explore the dynamic transformations unfolding in nature through the intricate interactions among living organisms. These interactions serve as catalysts for the evolution of nature's textures, generating a continuum of sensory experiences that can be challenging to discern amidst their seamless progression. Yet, within this organic continuum lies nature's inherent ability for self-regulation, where all elements find equilibrium within their own intricate dynamics. However, disruptions stemming from extraordinary phenomena such as pollution and overheating can interrupt this delicate balance. The detection of these disruptions is intimately tied to our sensory perceptions, particularly sight and sound. However, the manifestations of these disruptions create perceptual barriers that obscure our understanding of their impacts. The project employs a narrative approach that intertwines the growth patterns of organic life forms with industrial landscapes. Through the use of the turbulent displacer method for visuals and a diverse range of sound spectra, the disruptions are unveiled, accentuating the stark contrast between sensory experiences and the disruptive forces at play. This approach not only highlights the discordance between our senses and the disruptions but also exposes the underlying structure of nature.
