Peshetty’s Mourning
Peshetty Universe series - Digital drawing A dreamscape of aquatic beings gathers for a solemn ritual of collective mourning. Eye-shaped bodies float and finned forms open their mouths in silent sorrow. On either side, two weeping assemblies seem to cry their eyes out — literally — while spiraling creatures emerge like witnesses or guardians of grief. At the center a cluster of laughing Peshettys forms a clown, absurd and uninvited. Is this comic rupture a coping mechanism, a glitch in the ritual, or an unexpected form of release? A visual paradox where mourning and laughter converge. Drawn through inner resistance, this piece holds the fragile line between giving up and staying with what emerges.
