One night on a social network. An Opera-farce (a web-copy) Looks like that we live in a time of emotional turn. “What is truth and what is not” does not depend anymore on the possibility of reasoning but on heavy emotional impact of communication. We see the basis for this turn in the changes of language of communication—the appearance of the culture of emoji and gif-animations in our daily life interactions. They are ideograms usually used in social net-works and personal online communications. Emoji exist in various genres, including facial expressions, common objects, places and types of weather, and animals and many other forms and media. In our film we see a room with a table in the middle of it. Around the table we see the lonely person deeply occupied by reading his social media feed and following some links. In front of him we see the group of performer—4 recognizable Emoji who communicate with him and permanently construct and manipulate the content of the news. Beneath the table we see the typical Russian troll character who makes some comments and choosing this or that content. The whole action starts when the user is receiving an information about the killing of Arcady Babchenko—notorious Russian journalist who lived in exile in Ukraine. The user with the help of trolls and Emoji starts follows the case and jumps into surreal world of post-truth. The journey ends when in the morning he receives information that Arcady Babchenko is resurrected and his death was a special operation of secret services.
