Noosphere II: Collective Veil

Noosphere II: Collective Veil examines how artificial intelligence constructs and mediates reality through what can be described as “soft architectures.” Rather than representing existing spaces, these environments are generated from emotion, memory, and physiological data, forming fluid, adaptive structures that question how reality is perceived and shared. In this work, dreams are approached not as purely personal experiences, but as transformable data. Through processes of translation, reconstruction, and synthesis, subjective signals are converted into visual environments that can be collectively accessed. AI operates as a “dream translator,” not only visualising subconscious fragments but actively shaping how they appear, introducing a layer of mediation that challenges the stability of authorship and perception. These generated architectures function as both containers and systems of interpretation. They organise memory, reframe experience, and produce new visual narratives that blur the boundary between documentation and fabrication. In doing so, the work asks how far digitally constructed environments can be understood as evidence, and to what extent they participate in the production of truth. Presented as a moving image work, Noosphere II foregrounds a continuous process of generation and transformation. It proposes a space where reality is not fixed, but constantly produced through data, systems, and shared perception, revealing the underlying mechanisms through which contemporary truth is constructed.
