No man is an Island / Nijedan čovjek nije otok

The theme of this multimedia artwork is the clash between human loneliness and isolation in the modern society, especially highlighted in the age of extreme conditions as the consequence of the global pandemic caused by the Covid-19 virus, and the human need for connection and empathy with others, a motif already well established in Vesna’s activism focused on connecting people, especially people outside of the expected social norms, leading to them often being marginalized in society.
