Muse

Short film. A young filmmaker documents the creative process of two writers, once close friends. Cameras observe their private worlds, inspiration becomes entangled with surveillance, blurring the line between muse and author, manipulation and creation. Muse is a stylised film about artistic creation. It questions the myth of inspiration and the figure of the muse itself. It contains dark humour, eros, and philosophy. At its core, the film asks the question: who is really creating whom?
