MOKSHA MOKSHA explores the dissolution of identity and the fragile threshold between the human body and the natural world. Through digitally constructed portraits, the work questions the limits of the self, where skin becomes surface and consciousness begins to migrate beyond the physical. The intervention of non-human elements—such as the bird emerging through the face—acts as a metaphor for escape, rupture, and transformation. It is not violence, but a silent release: a passage from containment to expansion. Created using digital processes, this series embraces artificiality as a language rather than a tool, positioning AI and image manipulation as extensions of perception. In MOKSHA, the portrait is no longer a representation of identity, but a site of transition. Between stillness and movement, presence and disappearance, the work invites the viewer to confront the moment where the self dissolves—and something else begins.
