"Memory Palace"
Project Link https://newart.city/show/memory-palace-v-and-a "Memory Palace" is a project developed at the Victoria and Albert Museum that explores a 15th-century door from the collection as an active narrative object. Using photogrammetry, 3D modelling, and Three.js, the work reconstructs the artefact into an interactive digital environment. The door becomes a witness to political and religious tensions in early 15th-century Europe, translating historical research into a spatial experience. Presented at the V&A Performance Festival, the installation invites audiences to engage with history through interaction, sound, and movement. It positions the museum object not as a static display, but as a mediator between past events and contemporary interpretation.
