"You must see everything, hear everything, and forget everything." Napoleon. A glitch demonstrates a flaw in the system and is, in itself, the error: the counter-hegemony to the totality of the image. We have declared capitalism to be in crisis many times, yet what appears to be happening is a transition from the industrial to the informational-financial—a sort of abstract capitalism destined to perpetuate the metaphor of the desert, first in our minds and then on the planet. The flaw represents both a formal and conceptual aspect of this work, which, in one of its chapters—April 2017—evidences the use of transmedia narratives that broker the informational and financial warfare to which Venezuela has been subjected over the last 20 years. Using 'free association' within these messages, historical images were recreated to symbolically connect isolated events.
