In a data-driven age, softness and a sense of security are assigned precise values: 98.735% softness, 88.72% safety. These seemingly objective numbers replace vague emotions and lived experience. In this presentation, the image is divided into three horizontal segments. The same island is split into different observational samples. It is not broken, yet the way of seeing is sliced, aligned, and analyzed. Subtle shifts in sound, temporal misalignment, and variations in color temperature introduce an almost imperceptible instability— as if the system is recalibrating its data. The whole still exists, but it is no longer intact. Within measurable frameworks, we are accustomed to trusting numerical precision, while overlooking whether reality remains whole after being segmented. The island floats. The system computes. Wholeness is only an illusion of perception.
