Exposed

We view what's not physical as objects that we can easily fondle, yet they also contain some of the most intimate data in humanity. I use all sorts of materials, from collage to yarn, questioning what it means to create when algorithms only want us to consume. For this piece in particular, I used a generative AI model trained with scans of photos found in my official documents. The final result is a video piece where a large screen displays a constantly morphing portrait in the middle of the city center.
