Equinox

This video is part of my broader project ‘Colors and Shapes’, an artistic exploration that over the past year has taken shape through several video works and numerous photographic series. In this video, I have utilized the generative potential of artificial intelligence. In the videos and images that constitute these series, the focus rests entirely on color and form. It is a visual universe devoid of discernible subjects, traditional representations, recognizable figures, or explicit narratives. There is no concealed meaning to decipher, no message to interpret. Only the inherent presence of colors and forms. The aim is to cultivate the conditions for a primarily visual and perceptual experience. Colors and forms traverse the visual space with variations in rhythm and direction. They combine, separate, and transform, generating perpetually shifting configurations. Although they do not depict objects or recognizable scenes, they can evoke perceptions and sensations. Eschewing a narrative structure, they define visual environments where the gaze can linger freely. Observing them does not necessitate specific knowledge, interpretive tools, or contextual references. It requires only time—time to engage with what unfolds within the visual field, time to perceive the colors, the light, the movement of forms. This work is not intended for conceptual interpretation but for simple observation. In this simplicity, where there is nothing to decode, a personal and direct experience can still emerge. Without the end credits, the video is designed to be played on a loop.
