Dreams in the Open

I´ve collected dreams during the 2020 quarantine, I also ask to draw them, and I upload each one in an Instagram account @sueniosencuarentena supported by Asylum Arts Network, to create a visual/ virtual archive of dreams. Some of them are sent to me by text messages and other into audio format. In many of them, elements of nature appeared amplified and colours seem to be brighter. In the case of the children who told me their dreams, I noticed a militarized atmosphere and a correspondence to the news we listened from the media. So I selected five of those audios to narrate through the kids voices a journalistic chronicle of some of the news from the pandemic period. I re-record TV and internet images with a dirty and subjective cut-out of the screen, to highlight the surrealism and suspense of the situation.
