Digital Infinity

Can we still sense the impulse toward infinity in the digital and virtual age? Can contemplating beauty help us rediscover the world? The video installation "Digital Infinity" aims to stimulate these questions, exploring the fine line between reality and virtuality. A visual and symbolic journey from the artificial to the natural, from night to daylight, accompanied by electro ambient music, in which real footage—filmed between Cape Verde and China—mixes with that created by AI to the point that it becomes difficult to distinguish what is real from what is constructed. Reality is increasingly perceived as a sort of virtual simulation, and life has perhaps become a sort of video game.
