Deep Moon, Pluto - Trailer

Deep Moon, Pluto is a performance about bodies — how they are framed, fragmented, desired, and lost to the screen. At its centre is a mobile LCD monitor displaying photographic video of a nude body at 1:1 scale — held, shifted, and repositioned through a choreography of precise micro-movements until the monitor becomes surrogate, mirror, and obstruction at once, its surface collapsing the boundary between image and flesh, between subject and object. The work confronts our conformity to pornography, beauty standards, and aesthetic capitalism, asking what remains of presence, contact, and embodiment when the body is always already mediated.
