Debridging / Entbrücken

Some bridges go nowhere. Built for roads that were never finished, for connections that were never made. They stand in fields, above empty land, spanning nothing. "Debridging/Entbrücken" feeds these failed structures into an AI generator, merging multiple bridges into single mutant objects. The machine produces forms that inherit structural memory without function. The results are part ruin, part creature, part unfinished plan. An 8-minute animation travels through a Google Maps landscape populated by these mutants, circling each one while layering in photographs of the real source bridges. Failure beside its own hallucination.
