"Tornado" is a sculpture composed of loose papers, canvas, books, tables, chairs, thousands of pencils, paintbrushes, twigs, and anything else related to wood. These items are hung on a framework of wires and cables, reproducing the idea, shape, and movement of a real tornado through mapping. It will stand almost 18m high with a 8m radius at the top. It appears as if it had passed through and swallowed a library, gallery, sounds, memories, poems, images, feelings, objects, ideas, and people. In fact, it represents the knowledge we absorb, as well as the ephemeral nature of our learning and existence.
