Calco della pioggia 
Rain on cotton paper, canvas, and tissue paper 2025 Calco della pioggia (Cast of the Rain) stems from a desire to deeply listen to the natural phenomenon of rain, letting it act directly as a creative force. The aim is not to represent it, but to welcome it, record its presence, and let its voice emerge. At first glance, the works may recall gestural dripping, but what one observes is literally the imprint of rain: its cast, made visible on various supports – cotton paper, canvas, tissue paper – placed outdoors, exposed to atmospheric elements. After interacting with the rain, the materials were treated with spirulina algae and food dyes, which made the natural drawing left by the water visible. My intervention is minimal, almost invisible: I provide the tools and surfaces, but nature itself performs the artistic act. In this revelatory process, the rain becomes the author, and my role is transformed into that of witness, of intermediary, in a moment of deep empathy with the natural world. Calco della pioggia is an invitation to slow down, to observe carefully, to let ourselves be traversed by the non-human times and gestures that inhabit the same space as we do.
