Artificial Nostalgia
Artificial Nostalgia is an 8-minute AI-generated triptych moving-image loop that functions as a “breathing archive” of generative synthesis. Using AI-generated imagery, the work explores the intersection of contemporary technology and 1950s aesthetics, featuring tin toys, automatons, and early computers rendered as distorted, dreamlike memories. The installation blurs the boundary between the static and the kinetic; still images suddenly shudder with subtle movement before freezing again, mimicking the spectral flow of human memory through a machine-driven process.
