A Dollhouse for a Developer

“A House for the Slumlord Developer” is an artistic manifesto aimed at exposing dishonest practices in the property development industry and the exploitation of the vulnerable – particularly tenants. The work is a reflection on the housing crisis in Poland and the absurdities of the contemporary real estate market. Symbolically, I have locked the “slumlord developer” inside a cramped, claustrophobic apartment so that he might experience the very conditions he imposes on others. It is both a form of protest and a commentary on the pathologies that Polish people face today.
