🖤 Yes, those are the horrors of entropy... The gradual decay and disorder that inevitably creeps into every system, breaking down structure and order until chaos reigns supreme. It is a relentless force, indifferent to our desires or efforts to resist. Yet, in this endless cycle of creation and destruction, there is a strange beauty to be found - a reminder of the impermanence of all things, and the inevitability of change... 🖤  

🔸 The event took place at Philosof Club, Tbilisi, Georgia, on February 2️⃣4️⃣, 2024

🔳 "GIGER meets PARAJANOV: The Horrors of Entropy" is an AI-collaboration between two influential and unconventional artists: the Swiss surrealist painter Hans Rudolf Giger and the Armenian-Georgian-Ukrainian film director Sergo Parajanov

🔸 Giger is known for his macabre and biomechanical works, often depicting nightmarish and otherworldly landscapes, while Parajanov is known for his visually stunning and poetic films m collages that often utilize traditional art forms and folklore

🔳 If these two artists were to collaborate, it would likely result in a visually striking and thought-provoking exploration of themes of entropy, decay, and the supernatural. Their shared aesthetic creates a unique fusion of surrealism, symbolism and avant-garde storytelling

🔸 Dancers Anastasia Kononchuk & Appoliandriya, through contemporary dance, makes the strange, mysterious images of the video sequence even more ambiguous, and excerpts from the philosophical essay “Physics of Good and Evil,” read by dancer Alisa Bounce, will strengthen the universal meaning of the AI-collaboration of Giger and Parajanov
