Originally intended for the Tokyo Olympic Games (Cancelled by the Covid-19 safety measures), PANGAEA beckons us into a realm where the fragments of our fractured world yearn for reunion.

PANGAEA stands as a testament to unity amidst today's challenges. Amid divisive rhetoric and national isolation, Saboya's creation becomes a beacon of hope, reminding us of our shared humanity and the imperative of peace. Through its design, PANGAEA invites us to reflect on our global community's complexities and envision paths toward reconciliation.

PANGAEA (Invisible Landscapes) “POLO / CALVINO Edition”

In the spirit of Marco Polo's legendary travels, PANGAEA serves as a stage where East meets West, North embraces South, and the boundaries of imagination dissolve. Like the intrepid explorer himself, we embark on a journey across landscapes both real and imagined, guided by the timeless wisdom of Italo Calvino's prose.

Calvino's "Invisible Cities" offers a parallel universe to Saboya's creation, where Marco Polo's tales weave a tapestry of cities, here as mutant landscapes by the movement of these tectonic plates, transcending geography to explore the changes in humanity's essence. In these fictitious realms, we glimpse reflections of our own world, refracted through imagination. 

Each part of Pangaea becomes a mirror in which we confront our shared and uncontrollable destiny.

As Kublai Khan listens to Marco Polo's revelations, we too are drawn into a dialogue with past, present, and future. Through art and literature, we discover a common thread beneath our differences. From Venice's streets...
