This work questions how technology and media influence our perception and sense of self. In "A Day Full of Hope" by Tanya Akhmetgalieva, you will revisit the familiar and the nostalgic, as a carousel is reimagined through inverted colors and distorted sounds. This work evokes a sense of wonder and awe, as well as a sense of alienation and melancholy. In "True Tales" by Ida Lindgren, you will listen to the stories and the voices of children experiencing religion and spirituality. This work contrasts the serene and the disturbing, as poetic imagery clashes with disquieting audio. In "The Gift to Inner Child" by Anna Saut, you will observe the transition and the balance between wakefulness and sleep, as a child drifts into a dream state. This work captures the fragility and the beauty of that moment, where everything changes and nothing is certain. In "Duck Test №5 (Venetian)" by Sergey Kishchenko, you will follow the adventures of the artist’s alter ego, Duck Man, who finds himself in Venice, away from his home. This work combines video, music, and theremin performance to create a surreal and humorous story, where Duck Man explores the city and its culture while reminiscing about his past and identity.
