From Dallas to Dubai

In celebration of the digital retrospective of work by Carla Gannis featured on CIFRA, Ro2 Art has created this playlist to highlight works that can be viewed IRL in Dallas Texas through May 17 in the Carla’s exhibition ‘To the Max’ the exhibition prominently features a series of “beaded” assemblage paintings, painstakingly, created by hand after imagery made in collaboration with AI. The artist “bedazzled“ these images, which were painted and adorned with costume, jewelry, found glass, human hair, and other items. These are examples of the artist, hybrid work, bridging the physical with the digital.
